About Community Baptist Church:
Our Elders

Community Baptist Church is lead by a team of elders. God's Word calls these men to bring the Word of God to bear on the life our church family. It is God's Word that is the source of all we do individually and corporately to grow in intimacy with the Lord Jesus Christ. Bringing the Word to bear on the life of a church means that elders are called and equipped to instruct, rebuke, and encourage God's flock with loving long suffering from the Word (II Timothy 4:2). The congregation has appointed these men as qualified in the Word and character to fulfill this calling of God. As our shepherds of God's flock an elder is to meet the qualifications set forth in I Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9. So by God's grace our elders seek to pursue the work of leading God's redeemed flock.

"Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood." Acts 20:28

Following is a listing of the elders of our church with photos of each elder and their spouse. They are here to serve in your growth in Christ.
