About Community Baptist Church:
Our Deaconesses

Community Baptist Church is served by a group of faithful women who are called to provide a support role for the church family. These ladies most often are behind the scenes serving in many capacities. Areas of ministry include:

• Visiting homebound individuals
• Coordinating, preparing and serving funeral meals in addition to sending sympathy flowers
• Communion preparation and responsibilities
• Directing the maintenance and usage of the kitchen
• Supplying and maintaining the mission cupboard; also, making contents available to missionaries
• Assisting in the upkeep of the mission houses
• Organizing Harvest Home and distributing food to deserving families
• Decorating the church for the Christmas season
• Coordinating the Christmas Gift Project for underprivileged children in the community
• Maundy Thursday Service organization and preparation
• Serving and preparing for church family fellowships and dinners
• Encouraging individuals through the card ministry
• Recognizing first time expectant parents
• Assisting with Baptisms
